Can a mole be biopsied during the same visit?
When clinically appropriate and the dermatologist agrees, a small lesion can sometimes be biopsied the same day. More complex cases are scheduled for a follow-up procedure visit.
Can you coordinate aesthetic procedures?
Yes — botulinum toxin, fillers, peels, laser, and similar procedures are coordinated only with licensed dermatologists and plastic surgeons. We focus on consultation and realistic planning rather than promotion.
Are skin biopsies sent to a lab? When are results available?
Yes. Biopsy results are processed by accredited pathology labs in Ecuador. Turnaround varies by case, usually one to two weeks. We can coordinate the result review with the treating dermatologist.
